“Healing may not be linear, but therapy is the compass that guides us through the darkest corners of our trauma.“
Modern Trauma Therapy
Kayla Meyer, LCSW is a licensed therapist, co-founder of Pothos Health, and public speaker. Kayla assists her clients in building stronger connections between their minds and bodies, enhancing their self-awareness, emotional wellness, and helping them attain their full potential in their personal and professional lives.
She is certified in Brainspotting, a unique therapy modality that unwinds the brain’s learned reactions to danger through brain stimulation during emotional activation. This process helps clients unlock emotional wellbeing and improves cognitive flexibility.
In addition to Brainspotting, Kayla also practices Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). This holistic approach aids individuals in experiencing significant breakthroughs from deep-rooted beliefs about the self and trauma, fostering sustained relief from symptoms.
Kayla’s ultimate goal is to equip her clients with the necessary tools for mental and emotional relief. She relishes in celebrating their journey as they progress towards improved mental health and freedom from the constraints of their past.
